QUINCY A. KELLY AND FAMILY

Quincy A. Kelly was born in Mercer County, Ohio on February 7, 1861 and died May 2, 1912 on his grandfather's homestead in Norway Township.  His wife, Lenna A. Kelly was born April 22, 1865 in New Corydon, Indiana and died in Seattle, Washington in 1950.  They came from Indiana to Norway Township.  They reared 2 sons and 1 daughter, Lloyd born 1886, Guy born 1888, and Shirley born 1891, all born on the homestead.

Lloyd Kelly married Miss Agnes Clinkenbeard, daughter of Thomas B. and Lucy Isabell Clinkenbeard in 1910.  They have one daughter, Leona, born Aug. 8, 1914 also on the homestead.  She has made her home in Seattle, Washington for the past twenty-six years.  His maternal grandparents were Dr. L. D. and Katherine Hall, both born in Ohio but came to Republic County from Indiana.  They had a homestead in NE4 of Sec. 11.

Thomas B. Clinkenbeard was born in Oregon, Missouri Jan. 17, 1853 and died Feb. 16, 1937.  Agnes' mother, Lucy Isabell Clinkenbeard was born Dec. 11, 1862, in Vermillian County, Illinois and died in Kansas Sept. 3, 1920.  Her maternal grandparents were southern people born in Kentucky and Tennessee.
