MR. AND MRS CHARLES FIGGINS

Carrie Ballard was born in Buena Vista, Kentucky in 1870 and Charles Figgins in Arrow Rock, Missouri the same year.  They were married in Missouri and lived there till 1906 when they came to Kansas.  Mr. Figgins was a farmer in Missouri and also in Kansas where he farmed and operated and owned a large threshing outfit for a number of years.

One child was deceased in Missouri and Pete was Pete was deceased in Kansas in 1924.  There were three daughters and one son: Frances Hugos and Marie Hanson, Ida Hammer and George live in Norway, Kansas.  Frances and Karl Hugos had one son Neal Francis who made the supreme sacrifice for his country during world War II while on maneuvers over Gatum Lake in Panama.  One daughter Alta married tony Brown and Phylis married John Meisner.  Freida is deceased.

Ida married Porter Hammer.  They have one son Charles Marion who married dianna Buck of Topeka, Kansas.  They live in California and have one son Jeffry Wade and two daughters, Gail Louise and Paula Ann.

Charles Figgins died in 1929 and Mrs. Figgins died in Marshall, Missouri while on a visit to her sister in 1946.

  1. Thanks for posting this info - Charles is my Great-Grand Uncle! And there are many more of my ancestors in this book.
