Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Figgins came to Norway Community in 1906. Mrs. Figgins was reared in Garret County Kentucky, and she was born there in 1857. Her family came to Saline County in Missouri in 1876. She married James Robert Figgins of Arrow Rock, Missouri in 1883. They reared six children, Roy, Katherine Wendlton, Arthur, John, Henry and Lula Greer. All are deceased except Henry who lives in Norway.
Mrs. Figgins was a member of the Methodist Church. Sarah Bell Figgins died in 1938 and James Henry Figgins in 1911.
